The significant information that i learned after watching all these videos was how different peoples work was effected in tons of ways. For example Chris Thorsten, an iron worker, was talking about how dangerous his job was and other jobs too. He talked about how many men were killed all the time. You can find his interview here. Jim Cole talked about how work was effected by the color of your skin. He talked about how one time when he wanted to join the AFL union they wouldn't take him because he was a Negro, it didn't matter how good he was or what his skills were, just because his skin was a different color then theirs they wouldn't take him. You can find his interview here. Mrs. Elizabeth E. Miller talked about how she sometimes had to do the work that a man would usally do. She told about one expirence she had where she had to do her husbands job because he gone off to do another job all by herself and when her husband returned he was pretty amazed by the fact she did it all by herself. her interview is on this site; http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/wpaintro/eliza.html ( it wouldn't let me link it.)
